Elsbeth - i did not paper piece this. I made each snowball block (7 of each) and then sewed them together in rows. Because they are supposed to be just a tiny bit taller than wide and mine are square the design is slightly different in the original quilt.

Hi Ida, this is a very interesting block indeed! How did you do it, did you use freezer paper for each part? You did an excellent job!
