There will be sashing (double pink) and cornerstones (poison green) in between the blocks.
These were drafted as straight copies of the block. Unfortunately, because they are straight drafts, when I paper piece them, the blocks end up backwards. Yes, yes, I *could* redraft, or I could trace the pattern onto the reverse of the paper -- but that is a LOT of work!
To date, there have been five sets published. Each set either has 10 or 11 diamonds. [Odd numbered sets 1, 3, 5, etc. have 11 blocks; while even numbered sets have 10 blocks.]
The entire quilt is comprised of:
- 137 full diamond blocks
- 20 short half-diamond blocks (top/bottom)
- 12 long half-diamond blocks (left/right)
- 172 corner stone diamonds
- 308 sashing parallelograms
Left to complete:
- 130 full diamond blocks
- 20 short half-diamond blocks (top/bottom)
- 12 long half-diamond blocks (left/right)
- 172 corner stone diamonds
- 308 sashing parallelograms
